I was listening. I was sort of hoping he would marry an alien, but one from Io, not from the Philippines. That would be fitting.

I like Art Bell, too, but this is almost weirder to me than any of the UFO stuff. How can he forget the love of his life so quickly? It's creepy.

Her third cousin? Is that right?

Art: "She had no idea who I was....... I could have been poor as a church mouse"....... Hmmmm

Btw, Art does seem a little too concerned about people seeing her pictures (going to the internet)........ a little too concerned about her appearance........... but I like the guy's heart and hope his insticts about her are good.

Do you think this marriage diminishes his marriage to Ramona? It has shortened his grieving period and maybe that is good?

during the Clinton years he used to joke that he had enought strange stuff in "the bunker" to lock him away for centuries.".....Provided, of course, that Ms. Reno could make it to the bunker..hehe"

"Do you think this marriage diminishes his marriage to Ramona? It has shortened his grieving period and maybe that is good?"

Or is it denial of grieving?

I've been divorved for almost two years. Why haven't I bought a wife?

He thinks he's got a real catch, but she knew exactly who he was according the information posted here by Musket.

Let me attempt to set this straight.

I heard all that already, having listened to the whole show.

That still does not "set straight" the suggestion by her/him that she didn't know who he was, what he was worth, what he did ......... and that he could have been "as poor as a church mouse" for all she knew.

I don't believe that.

there are lots of marts here as well.. all kinds of 'goodies'. most I have never tasted and likely won't, ;p)

I like the bakery stuff and some of the pastries are mighty good. Im lucky I haven't porked up much in 20 years.

Let me attempt to set this straight. She emailed him to his personal address. At first he thought somehow Ramona had something to do with it, then he suspected Ramona's mom setting it up 'cause she's half philipino. But it turns out that one of his Ham Radio buddys actually set it up. She is the sister of his Ham buddy's new wife, hence the double wedding. And in the time leading up to their meeting, they did a bunch of video conferencing.

Wasn't Art Bell protested in the Phillipenes for (False)anti-Asian slurs?

I find it hard to believe that this is some random event...
He even mentioned to something about "a year ago I told you something happened to me and to ask me one year from now"...but then he dropped it...

Strange.
Still, best of luck

My instinct is to agree with you.
