I am sorry that you had to experience the passing of your husband. That must have been an awful time for you. It sounds like you were able to find your way out of the Valley of Tears. I wish you joy and friendship and good health.

Something you might want reflect or observed what is taking place on this planet earth! something I posted on another thread when I read some one is marring someone in the Netherlands and moving there...

****

I am just realizing something that has been going on now for a while...

More and more people are getting married and moving around the planet in a greater degree!

So there is a natural plan of globalization taking place, and I pray it is NOT confused with "OWO Globalism"

Hamlet can be endearingly sarcastic. And, of course, that's one of his gentler remarks on the subject of "oer-hasty" marriage (under questionable circumstances).

My take on the “Art Bell is smitten” story is that it is theatre. A ruse. Art’s post-haste expatriation is to escape America’s impending upheaval.

If so, he's moving to the wrong place:

Don't be fooled. The girl is in this for money, no two ways about it.

He's trying to sell that fantasy to himself.

You're right. I found an audio file of the first hour. First he gives a detailed account of how she found him. Then 30 minutes later he says she didn't know who he was and that he could've been as "poor as a church mouse". That's hooey. If she wasn't told by her sister who Art Bell is then I'm sure she's internet savvy enough to google Art Bell. After all, she's savvy enough to set up web conferencing. You have it exactly right - "he's trying to sell that fantasy to himself". If you want a copy of the mp3 file Freepmail me.

"Love is A Many Splendored Thing"

****

It's the April rose that only grows in the early spring,

Love is nature's way of giving a reason to be living,

The golden crown that makes a man a king.

Once on a high and windy hill,

In the morning mist two lovers kissed and the world stood still,

Then your fingers touched my silent heart and taught it how to sing,

Yes, true love's a many-splendored thing.

****

Let's let Art alone to see what is.

Love to all from here at the nursery............

****

Maybe this is what has me in such a fine set of mind ................

onyx, ........... please check it out if you would. My mother used to play this on the piano at our bed time back in the mid - '50's. It's so incredibly beautiful.

I wonder that myself, I joked with a fellow co-worker (who also listens to Bell/Noory) that "maybe Stan Deyo told him something and he is getting out of the US before the 'upheaval.'" IIRC, Stan is in Australia and overall, I think Australia would be safer than the Phillipines, then again, this is pure speculation.

Interesting that someone finally mentions this. One of the thoughts occuring to me is that Art Bell needs to be careful in the Philippines. Abu Sayyef kidnaps Americans. I wonder if he's gotten his obligatory visit from the State Dept. yet.

Art may be blinded by infatuation and loneliness; but he's going to lose his wealth and maybe his life there. Excellent observation; "Art Bell needs to be careful in the Philippines. Abu Sayyef kidnaps Americans." He would have been MUCH wiser to move the wife here. Possibly he's thinking there may be an upheaval here, but he's definitely moved into harms way in several ways. Make no doubt the new wife is looking at the money, and he is a prime candidate for a kidnapping there. So she could easily be a rich young widow very quickly. How foolish can this man be? I guess we'll see.

You got that right! He has jumped from the frying pan, into the fire. A man of Bell's means could easily "hide out" anywhere of his choosing in the USA, but Sweetie Pie doesnt wanna come here.......Hmmmm.

There's definitely more to this story than we are being told. There are rumors floating around that Art Bell is being "looked at" by the appropriate people and that his activities are being monitored. Keep in mind! This is just a RUMOR I heard. :)
