I seem to remember that name...aren't they one of those passing bands that came and gone a few years ago? Yea, that the ticket.

Actually, the Dixie Chicks were a really good cowgirl quartet that used to play fine background music for my lasagna and chocolate souffles at Joey Tomato's restaurant here in Dallas. Songs like "Cow Cow Boogie" and "Thank Heavens for Dale Evans." Then they fired the woman who started the group and replaced her with some pudgy loudmouthed chick with a huge chip on her shoulder and an ego as big as Texas. Musically, they've been going downhill ever since.

BTW, I logged onto their website and watched the video for this new song. What a self-righteous, self-indulgent piece of cr*p.

I heard the one that started the group that they fired, married a cowboy and won the lottery(good for her!)

The thing that bugs me the most about that natalie is the fact that she has NO NECK! It just bugs the shit out of me!

Here are some other items:

"Country music fans in the US are mostly a Middle-America, conservative bunch, who vote Republican for President."

"There is, for instance, one song entitled "Lubbock or Leave It", apparently an attack on narrow-minded small-town America. We have not heard it yet."
