The on set is very sudden. Not like a regular drunk. It's completely immobilizing. The instance that I saw, the girl hit the ground very hard, as if someone clunked her on the head. After going out, she was paralyzed to the point of being unable to speak beyond a dim mumble, yet her eyes were open, responded to light, etc.
The medicos who responded knew what it was immediately.
