Beware of spoilers for the Season Nine finale, "Camelot," in this story.
The impending tenth season of Stargate SG-1 will see an invasion of galactic proportions, executive producer Robert C. Cooper told GateWorld. As the season premiere, "Flesh and Blood," begins in July, the first ships of the Ori invasion fleet have entered our galaxy -- and were not even slowed down by a fleet of ships from Earth, the Jaffa, the Tok'ra, the Asgard, and the Lucian Alliance ("Camelot").
"Season Ten is very much about the bad guys kind of executing the plan, the promise -- coming through on what they said would come to pass, which is that they're going to come in and take over our galaxy," Cooper said in an interview. SG-1 lived under the threat of the impending invasion for the show's ninth season ... a threat that has finally come to pass.

Sounds good. Recent seasons did suffer without a sufficiently powerful enemy. And it probably wasn't intended, but the Ori have clear parallels with Islamofascists. Submit to their religion and you can live as a slave; resist and die.
I agree. I like the direction the show was going. Goauld was getting boring.. The show needed a fresh start....
Exactly.
It sounds like they're going through with their process of reinventing the show-and that's a good thing. Also don't forget that the Wraith are headed towards Earth, too. What would happen if the Wraith and the Ori formed an alliance?
Well I heard there is going to be a new enemy on Atlantis next season..
How many Ba'al (sp?) clones do they need, anyway? : )
Well I like Baal.. I think there are a lot, but I think they may kill them off...
Very cool, can't wait to see it enfold....
SPOILERS
I like Baal, too. He's not your average Goa'uld. At least he has some sense of style.
