Sleep well!
I am going to be awake for a while, so I shall enjoy all the wonderful music that you so graciously provided.

It's a beautiful country. I've been there a couple of times, and I want to go again.

In all the years that I spent in Spanish classes from high school to college, I saw countless pictures and videos of Spain. Much of the countryside is so much like Texas, that Spain looked like home.

Normal price for top quality varifocal lens in Britain. The Frames were only 50.00 dollars.

Never been to mainland Spain but have been to Majorca and parts of that Island are beautiful. I loved the mountains with the smell of the oranges and lemons.

You didn't like Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and Rod Stewart?
I guess you do remember Fleetwood Mac. There instrumental, "Albatross", was the only instrumental to ever hit #1 on the charts in the UK. One of their first and biggest hits.

I long ago decided that when I ever actually marry, I would like to have the honeymoon on the islands of Majorca and Menorca.

Yours is great also (as usual) Victoria. this is a wonderful thread Victoria. I know the damper for most of us this holiday is knowing the pain that nowhereman is suffering.
I have a mega headache.. will take (even) more meds & try to rest a bit & will be back later. Maybe a few more of the weekend travellers will be back. I see Hoodlum91 checked in from her remote location.
Thanks for the Rainbow Bridge poem, I've heard it before but thanks for posting it. Headaches, I hate those too, I get migraines myself, the ocular kind (that affect the eyes) which are a pain in the butt. Migraines do run in my family. If I do manage to find someplace dark and quiet, I can recover much faster usually. One time when I was at work at another job I had, I got an ocular migraine and I hid behind the computer rack until my vision cleared. My current co-worker gets them too as well as my mother.
BTw, there are times I call G.W. Greystone by mistake. B-)

Oh my you get migraines.. bummer. I have never had one of those.. what I get is bad enough. Light, computers to hurt & the energy level is gone (rare for me .. the energizer bunny most of time).
I still call Josy Oliver quite often. Josy was the Shepherd I got First of Feb. I had a boo-hoo day yesterday w/oliver. The hike I took with two pooches was area that Oliver & I did thrice week for a couple years... heart tugging for sure.
Praying for you brother.

My prayers are with you this evening in your time of loss. I have always been a cat person myself, and know the pain of having such a beloved friend and companion pass on. May God grant you comfort during this painful time.
Thanks. I'm happy I have 7 others to help my shoulder the burden. Still thinking about it, if we didn't take them in, Greystone could have died out in the woods, unwanted and unloved so I'm grateful for his time with us.

Every time I see a cat now I think of you and Greystone. I have my neighbor's cat in the house right now "visiting".
If I were a cat I can't think of a better "owner" I could have had than you.
Thanks. We do our best. At least Greystone passed on in a home that wants and loves him, he could have died outside had we not taken him and his family in. I feel good that we could have given them a home.
