In other developments, a defense attorney for one of players says he knows who made the 911 call the night of the alleged gang rape.
"We're absolutely positive the caller was not the accuser, but the other young lady there," Cheshire said.
Cheshire said witnesses have talked to the woman and a comparison of audio tapes proves the caller was the second dancer at the party, but Durham police say they do not know who called.

Because I get sick of seeing the same articles posted over and over with made up titles.
Besides, it's forum protocol, remember?
Then either find an article that does, or post a vanity in Bloggers and write your own title.
Cowboy Bob,
There are many strange things about this case. One was that on Dan Abrams, 2 guests (a former prosecutor and a Defense attorney) both said that he Boyfriend drove her to the Hospital? Incredible as it sounds, they said on National TV that the police didn't take her and she didn't arrive in an Ambulance. So, YES, she certainly could've been hit by a boyfriend that found her only in see-thru underwear and was intoxicated (and without her cash for the night).
One other unbelievable thing is that the Police waited 31 hours for her to provide any details or tell her story for the first time. 31 hours is too long to wait for a criminal mind like Crystal's. She was out with her boyfriend the same day she was released from the hospital. As everyone knows, after a criminal trial, the Civil trial comes and that's where Payoff is.
.
I bet some of their "rich, white" parents are thinking about that right now, huh?
I know now. One other person (maybe you) had said something on another thread but when they said MADE-UP article titles, I thought they were challenging the veracity of the article. Calling it fake or misrepresented.
I know now, and I'll follow protocol. No problem here.
Kim probably wants to dump the now comatose Mangum into a ditch and get away from the whole event. Kim's not in a condition to see the police herself and doesn't want to answer questions, so she tries to do the halfway right thing and tries to dump Mangum onto the Kroger security guard. Police are called anyway and Kim's nailed as a participant in the evening's events.
Yet we have info that sometime the next day Mangum dropped her car off at her father's house saying she wasn't going to drive it for a while. Doesn't that mean that Mangum or someone else went back to the scene to pick up her car which had been left there the night before? What true rape victim would go back to the house where she had been raped?
Simple- Kim drove to the house, the accuser was dropped off later on by someone (boyfriend?) Afterward, both strippers left in Kim's car.
You two are amazing! Thanks for ferreting out all the info on Crystal Gail Mangum and her criminal record.
Several talking heads on TV will be eating humble pie when the whole truth comes out about this alleged "rape".
Nancy Grace and Kimberly Guilfoyle: Do you like your crow baked, stewed, or fried?
I'll bet Mangum's cell phone (recovered with her purse?) and the record of calls has a wealth of information about her activities that evening.
Probably whoever dropped her off would also come to pick her up. It was clearly unwise to dance at a private house without a bouncer, but this likely wasn't the most reputable "business" in the world. In fact, it seems clear to me that the escort service was a prostitution services. I read an article that said that strippers are usually hired from entertainment services, not escort services.
Perhaps the green honda mentioned by police in the affidavit was the car the accuser drove to the house.

If you wish, you can put the relevance of the article in parentheses after the title (like this!)
Reason behind it is, it makes it easier to search on if the original title is posted as-is. That way there are fewer double-posts.
And welcome to FR!
May be. Kim was driving a Dark blue Honda Accord (she says looks black at night).
Thank you Sir!

Reading the search warrant, it appears to me that the Green Honda belonged to one of the residents, but it isn't clear. It is parked on the side two days later, when the search is conducted.
A 10-year-old economy car? Sounds like the player/owner was really "wealthy". I mean no offense to those who drive 10-year-old economy cars, but I'm pointing out the inaccuracy of the stereotype with which the players are portrayed.
