I am considering adopting this Min Pin. He was born on 01/05/06. He was a puppymill rescue (pup was being sold at a Puppy Auction and the rescue group bought him so he would not be sold to another puppymill for breeding.)
He came with papers (which I don't really care about the papers) But he looks like he is mixed. His legs seem to be shorter than normal, but that might because he is so young. What do you other MinPin owners think?
The reason I ask is because they will be charging me "pure breed" price on him. The price is reasonable but I don't want a short legged MinPin. He is as cute as button and his leg height really does not matter to me, but it does to my husband.
This pup has already been neutered and I have a female spayed MinPin mix (she is 90% MinPin, but I got her when she was 5 months old and her legs never looked this short). My female is only 10 pounds and is 2 years old now.
Also... I know all about MinPin's, I just have not seen many baby MinPin's before and I have no idea if this one looks normal for a pure breed.
He romanced the cows.
That's the one. It just stuck in my head as amazingly funny.
That is so cute!
Herd'em up lil doggie!
Good News...
I just heard back from the lady, she approved me.
So the little guy is mine!
Bad News...
I have to wait until after the 11th of April to pick him up.
but I can deal with it.
After I get him home with me I will post some pictures of him on this thread then.
Thanks again!
cutie pie!
Congrats on becoming a new mommy!
I need some help from Texas. (this is not k-9 related)
I am looking to find a Texas Freeper who is at or near Lackland AFB who might know more about this accident...
My nephew is a new recruit at Lackland AFB and there was an accident that involved 2 transport vans hitting each other head on. Each van held 16 recruits, so 32 recruits were hurt, some of them badly. My nephew was one the new recruits being transported in one of the vans. My understanding is he will be in the hospital for the next 30 days, we only know that his shoulder was dislocated, they pop it back into place at the accident site. He is now in the hospital and has to stay there for 30 days for medical treatment and therapy.
Since the recruits were technically in basic training (first few days of it actually) they are still limiting their contact with family. The accident happened on Tuesday, March 28th and I believe it happened on base. My sister was not informed by the military about it and her son was only allowed to call her on Saturday to tell her about it and his injuries. So she just found out yesterday.
I was hoping that you one of you might know any Lackland AFB Freepers or if one of you could post this on Texas FR Board for me, anyone that has information can FReep mail me at stlnative.
Thanks so much for your help in advance.
I am in Houston but maybe somebody on my ping list can help.
Thank you for the help!
I was afraid to post a new Vanity thread over this and I don't know how to post on the Texas board.

Texas board...
but how do I post a message on it?
I figured it out - I had to make it my local board so I could post.
Hope everything is OK.
Hospital Information (210) 292-7412
If he is in the hospital for 30 days he's probably at Wilford Hall Medical Center......
The above number will get ya started on contacting him if he's still bad enough to be hospitalized. A dislocated shoulder almost a week ago will have him more than likely in a medical hold squadron on light duty vs hospital bed so he may be waiting there till he heals enough to continue training.
....... BTW they will only speak to next of kin about medical conditions etc so have his Parent call or you'll get zip for information.
You da man!
You peeked ?
Ya broke back buzzard!
Holy cow - no help here - but prayers up.
TheMom - those are such cute little puppies - except for Baby Cujo.
Adorable!
