They should be able to pick whatever they want. But where's the challenge in that? Chris would sing nothing but Creed/Fuel songs every week.

Chris gave his fans something to vote for tonight so I can see that. Taylor could crap on stage and the Soul Patrol wouldn't care.

He has really blossomed as a performer. He's peaking as just the right time. He has been able to "ramp it up" each week and keep up with all of the contestants we used to call the "big guns".

I agree with your bottom two: Pickler and Paris. I think McPhee will join them in the bottom three (if they have a bottom three this week), just because of the judges' bashing.

Yeah...I really liked Chris in the beginning, but he's gotten old for me. I loved Bo last year because he showed versatility, Chris is good but it's the same every week. I've always loved Taylor, however the past 2 weeks Elliot has become my fave. Of course I would buy everyone of the cd's the men make because I really like them. I wouldn't one of the girls. So I am hoping for the final 3 to be the guys, with Elliot winning, Taylor 2nd and Chris 3rd.

Because she was singing the song "Unchained Melody" that was in the movie "Ghost", she was commenting about that scene where they were working the pottery wheel being really cute, and that she wanted "somebody to play pottery with."
Ahem.

Elliott was incredible! He's gotta stay on after tonight! I just got online...I also thought McPhee was great and the Judges were deaf!Agree with you on both points!

You think she's going to lose her teeth? Whitney lost her teeth?? Was it drug related or did Bobby knock 'em out?

I hate sob stories....they are so "feel sorry for me because blah blah blah"....if I wanted to hear that, I'd have become a therapist.
I don't understand how so many here don't like Paris. She is humble, sweet & very talented. I guess since she has semi-famous relatives some folks think she doesn't "need" to be the AI....I say it isn't about need...it is about want & talent.
and you are not a liberal....yet. heehee

If Kellie stays alive and makes the top 5, and assuming Paris is the one who goes, the entire dynamic changes. All of a sudden Kellie and Cat are the only women left. A pretty blond and a pretty brunette. Not sure where Paris's vote would gravitate.
Anyone know what next week's theme is? That might tell the story.
Kellie's line still busy 2 out of 3 calls.
To: silent_jonny
You missed a very brief (but very nice) opera duet with McPhee and Bocelli. It was great. They sounded fantastic together. It was beautiful sounding. I didn't get what gripe the judges had with Kat. I really don't expect to hear Whitney Houston's song sound exactly like her unless it is HER, and judging by the cover of this week's "National Enquirer", baby, that ain't gonna be happening any time soon! Ooh boy.
FWIW, I think Kat will be fine this week. Kellie actually MAY be in trouble...

I think her votes go Kat and Elliott. Kat for being a female and the disgust of losing to Pickle. For Elliott due to the genre.
