Although I am glad Ace is gone, even I preferred Ace to Kelly. There is no way Smelly Kelly should make the top 5.

I thought Chris was the best and I want to marry him!
I thought Kat was #2, but overacted on the song a bit.
Elliot #3, but I've never gotten into his song choices.
Taylor #4, he seemed a little tired.
Pickle#5 she did good to get this far, but the party's over.
Paris #6, just for singing a Barbara Streisand song, and she wasn't good. Plus she gets on my nerves

***It's her life story, from the audition, that done hooked me. So, I guess the truth is out... I cannot help but root for life's underdogs. (I'm a sucka!)****
I agree. She's overcome alot in her life and she's only 19.

"I think if Kellie had some training, she'd be fabulous."
I think you're right. Kellie has a nice "tone" but not much training. That really messed her up last week with the timing. I also HATED the arrangement of Unchained tonight but that wasn't Kellie's fault. Both Katharine and Paris have had years of training and have a "polished" act.
I think that kind of thing is why Kellie has done so well. But I still say she's in the bottom 3 this week...no doubt.

So, it has nothing to do with ability?
All you need is a "bad childhood"?
Austin is turning you liberal.

I agree completely with your rankings. Elliot has been growing on me the last few weeks and then he sings one of my all-time favorite songs.
Please Kellie -- Go home after talking about the Ghost pottery scene.

According to Dial Idol Katherine will be bottom 3 but is safe --- it is down to Kellie and Paris. Paris is lagging behind at the moment.

(Paris) I am soooooo sick of them blowing smoke up that little girl's backside. LOL! What surprised me tonight that Paula blew more smoke than Randy--"best female vocal of the night", my ass. That was McPhee.

I really like Paris. She seems genuine-sweet....Kelly is a phoney baloney.

On a whim, I tried to dial Kellie's numbers. They are both VERY busy.

I don't see what's so good about Taylor.
Kat sang her heart out. The judges must have been watching something else.
Elliot can sing.
Pickler only has to hit about four or five good notes.
To: AnnaZ; buckeyesrule
But it's not about what these people have overcome, it's about how well they sing. Paris did better tonight then Kellie. Paris, IMO, did better then Katherine.

Elliot sounded great tonight (and I have listened to his performance three times now!) He is the dark horse in this race!
