I have heard this and find it interesting but it all depends on who you talk to. If people in Richmond cannot vote then it would seem that it is a local problem. If people can't vote in other parts of the country then he's obviously doing well.
He doesn't expect to win and while he's having a great time and doesn't want to leave, he's certainly realistic about the situation. He's not going to be hurting for a job after the tour and people will likely see him again down the line.
Remember when I posted that I wrote VFTW. I asked them why they were helping her get what she wants.
This was their reply:
She is an incredibly entertaining train wreck that does dumber things every week. At this rate, she'll be sucking on a pacifier and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at the finale. Yay!

LMAO
The only saving grace is that VFTW doesn't have the numbers to get her to win. What's the closest they've gotten? #5 with Savol? Anyone know?
I have noticed over the weeks that there are times when I hit the redial, that I get a high pitched squeel. It happened a lot for Mandisa, had it occur for Kevin and Bucky, too. I have to admit I kind of wondered about it.
Hey, did you ever get that dialidol software to work?
I think Cowboy Troy is a detraction for NS. jmo He reminds me of Roy Rogers.
I haven't cared for any of the hosts....I think they should get Lance Smith from CMT for next season.
I don't know who Lance Smith is, but they should be able to find someone better than what hey have done. I ahve to say though that I am surprised at how horrible Wynonna is as a host.
Your post is as refreshing as your screen name.
Nah. Since no one gets through in Richmond at this point it sort of doesn't matter.
Sounds like he'd be a good one to try. Can't hurt! :)
Netizen, thanks for posting this. FWIW, it appears to me that Ace is a genuinely nice young man. He also has a killer smile and is easy on the eyes, to say the least -- and I also do not think that he is gay (although that really is not our business). BUT I simply did not think he was the most talented singer in the pool, and therefore I was in a hurry to see him leave, before he supplanted someone who gave better performances. I do wish him well in the future. I think he would probably be great in a soap opera (and I don't mean that as a slam) or a situation comedy (maybe they could work in some occasional singing into the plot). I just don't think he's a great singer.
As for Kellie, I certainly do not "hate" her. However, I think she is only moderately talented as a singer, and for me, the AI competition is about singing and performing. Her personality, such as it is, grates on me, so that is not a plus as far as I am concerned. Again, it is my perception that Kellie has given worse performances than some of the others who are left (such as her massive mistakes this week), and therefore, I would like to see her leave earlier rather than later. But again, that's JMO. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, LOL! That's what makes it a horse race. :)
DialIdol measures the busy signal to determine which Idols are getting the most votes - based on the results it can automatically direct your votes to one of your favorite Idols - but not necessarily your favorite.
Yes, they do. Every week they have an established country artist on as a guest host, and they also do guest judges. Phil Vassar, who is a star in country music, is one of their regular judges. Leann Rhimes was the regular host last year and this year the hosts are Wynonna Judd and Cowboy Troy. But cable simply doesn't reach the same numbers of people that broadcast TV does.
As for Garth Brooks, I think he did retire. I don't follow country music closely, so I don't know why.
I agree with your post all the way around. I could easily see Ace in a Soap Opera. I don't watch them myself but he could do it. Write him in as night club singer or something.
The other problem is - doesn't it run opposite AI's results show or something?
Ace sounds like a really nice guy. I hope he develops an acting career, because I could definitely enjoy watching him on the big screen or small. I also think that if he could get with a top-notch vocal coach who could help him lose the falsetto and sing from a bit lower register, he'd actually have a nice singing voice. But Ace's real money is in his face and fabulous smile.
