And you know what is even sadder? The other day I was flipping channels and I caught Gretchen Wilson's video for Politically Uncorrect. I realized I had nearly the exact same outfit on (tshirt, low slung jeans), down to the hair and the earrings (big silver hoops). So, apparently, even at 30 I am taking my fashion tips from videos.

If it makes you feel any better, in the late 80's/early 90's I used to comb my hair just like ALF's :o

He doesn't want Elliott to go any further and while he couldn't bash the vocal, he had to bash the personality. He does the same thing to Taylor, bashing something other than vocals.
To: Echo Talon
McPhee has sounded like a screeching cat on many nights. I do agree with that. Her performance last week is a good example.

So, apparently, even at 30 I am taking my fashion tips from videos. No, you're just being trendy!! Ten years from now, you'll have a giant perm and bangs and be horrified looking at pictures of yourself circa 2006! :)

I've only watched bits and pieces of Nashville Star this season, but there are 2 guys on this show who I can't even figure out why they are not signed and selling 8 gabillion records each already. The first guy who sang tonight is like a cross between Johnny Cash and James Dean. Then this other guy just sang a few lines from a Phil Vassar song and blew me away.
They need better judges, though.

Elliot is safe I think Ace is gone.

ROTFLMAO!!
If you see me getting a perm or puchasing some Rave or White Rain at Walgreens please smack the crap out of me, because I've clearly gone mental.

On Dial Idol he is a solid #2 and 3 % above the Pickle. That she's not in the bottom 3 is wrong. Elliott, Paris and McPhee are all better singers, consistantly outsing her and they will all likely to go home before she will.

They need better judges, though.I've watched a little of NS on the weekends and ... blah. Singing talent aside, the show just doesn't have the production values of Idol. And it's poorly paced. One minute you're watching Wynonna on the stage, the next Cowboy Troy--LOL

Elliott is in the bottom three?? The nights early yet. Left coast needs to weigh in.
