...we wish that this matter is reviewed at length in order to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.

Atrocities?! LOL! Whoever wrote that letter apparently doesn't know what an atrocity is.

I think it is a function of performance and Mandisa's votes going to Elliott and Paris, both of whom seemed to appeal to their bases. Chris will have real problems when Elliott/Paris morphs into one vote.

Probably another lame Ford commercial and them singing a Queen song....

Plus more cheap banter between Seacrest and Cowell and the drama of who goes home spread out between even more ads.

Perhaps you're right. Whatever the reason, though, Chris was once the favorite to win. If the DialIdol figures have any validity, he's fallen nearly to the bottom.

>>>I've said it before, America loves a dumb blonde.<<<

I myself prefer intelligent brunettes and sexy redheads, but you are absolutely right. Just look at the Hollywood hagiography: Carole Lombard, Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Brigitte Bardot. And more recently...Anna Nicole, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Pamela Anderson.

Kellie will fit right in (after some breast implants).

BTW..."Circles" is a Billy Preston tune. I'd love to see Hicks cover it.

Have you listened to him perform it from the gray charles site?

All right, Why didn't Taylor do 'Will it Go Round in Circles' on Wonder night?

It's a Billy Preston song or did Stevie sing it too? I love his rendition, especially his interaction with the audience. "How many of you work from 9-5 every f'n workday?"

I like how Wynonna came out later and said that she didn't mean Carrie. Even though the questions asked of her was specifically about C-A-R-R-I-E. LOL

I think Carrie will make Wynonna eat her words.

Yes, Carrie will do well. The girl has some amazing pipes.

Unfortunately talent is getting trumped for looks and well we have some sucky music now. Wynona can sing! I'm not even a country music fan but I know talent when I hear it.

That's at the end of the song, I think the 9-5 is a lead in to the song 9-5.

Chris picked an obscure and rather unlistenable song. It won't eliminate him though, even if he hits the bottom 3 tonight. I do think however, his same old same old is wearing thin. On the other hand, a good strategy is to survive and advance to the final 2 or 3 weeks, then let it all hang out. He could make it there, but IMO he won't. It will be Pickler :( and Taylor :)

Wynona can sing!

Yes, but so can Carrie. Wynonna should have been gracious enough to acknowledge that. But, maybe Wynonna thinks Carrie should have entered the scene through Nashville Star instead of AI. After all, how well is last year's NS winner doing, compared to Carrie?

It's been Taylor picking crappy songs and no one else. Of all the last sixty years of country songs, he picks one from John Denver of all people. Taylor is very talented and will do well no matter where he ends in the voting. Many of the runners-up have out sold the winner.

According to Taylor's bandmates he was going to sing Hank Jr. but when he got arrested the producers pulled his song. The band knew CR and that was why it was chosen. CR was not Taylor's first, second or probably last choice.

He was interviewed and said he loved country music, especially Ronnie Milsap. Hell he could have sang any Kenny Rogers song ten times better than Kenny. Yet the way the intro was done it was edited to sound like Taylor was clueless to the genre. HELLO, he's from Alabama. Do the producers think we are really that dumb? His song Hell of a Day and West Texas Sky are country songs, good ones at that. They also tell a story. Remember Kenny's patronizing on that point? I always keep in mind it's still tv first.

He should have been allowed to sing it anyway. I didn't even know jr was arrested til somone posted about it. lol I think it was a lame excuse.
