She weighs nothing and can barely stand up on a good day.

Grin...Paula is quite a character. I think she's really a sweetie at heart, but her life is more tangled than the most convoluted daytime soap. At least Spencer, her current boyfriend, came to her defense, although I'm not clear how he wound up in the hospital when he punched Lefkowitz in the face.

Hi, Wolfstar :)

I'm suspicious about her agent being involved in this, even if he is a "former" agent. Sounds like a stunt.

Then again, this seems like the kind of publicity Paula would want to avoid :)

Paula may want to avoid it, but the people around her may not. I genuinely like Paula despite her quirks, but I don't get the sense that she's the sharpest intellect around.

We actually turned the heat on a little, because the wind is just so cold. I'm so tired of this weather and ready for it to be warm.

I hope these first few thunderstorms we've had aren't indications of things to come. A few summers ago we couldn't go more then a day or two without a horrible thunderstorm. Did you guys get hit with that, too? It was the worst. We spent practically all July and most of August inside because of the storms.

The best part was the weather guy on CLTV news channel. He must have been from somewhere that does not get midwest thunderstorms. He would be freaking out like the world was ending. He would be nearly yelling, "Stay away from your windows!! Branches and debris could come flying in at very high rates of speed!! Get to the basement or into your tub immediately!!"

This is only the first part of April and the tornado season...it better not be a sign of things to come....I'm already tired of this....I don't have a basement, just a crawl space...we all go to the inside bathroom...hubby removes the shower doors so there won't be much glass flying around....

Thanks for the link to Mandisa's interview. What a wise and wonderful young woman! She is right...God has a plan for her. I can't wait to see what it is.

That sounds hilarious! :)

Don't you hate it though when the weather is bad and the weather channel isn't reporting the weather as it is happening? Instead they are reporting on weather from three years ago or something.

I thought it was one of the nicer interviews. While I was looking around the other night I did come across a site that was crying 'racism', complaining how the minorities are the first to go. I guess they forgot that Melissa and Kevin were white.

hetty,

The problem is not the hail but when hail comes down (any size) it is a good sign that a tornado may touch down. Hail = Possible Tornado = run for the basement.

Most people in this area are hit with hail right before a tornado touches down.

My truck was in the garage.

I caught the tail end of the news tonight I thought they said 17 people in Tenn were killed by tornadoes during the last afternoon - early evening today.

I'm confused by this part. Do you mean 17 were killed today, or last week?

like I said I caught the tail end of the news and I thought they said 17 in Tenn today. 24 died last week in Tenn.

My news will be on in a few minutes and I have not checked the headlines yet online. If I find out more I will post what I learn.

Tornadoes Sweep Through Tennessee, Kill 10

By ERIK SCHELZIG

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Apr 7, 2006 (AP)— A line of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes marched across the nation's midsection Friday, peeling away roofs, overturning cars and killing at least 10 people in Tennessee, officials said.

At least eight deaths were northeast of Nashville, said Eddie Boatwright, spokesman for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.

Fire Chief Joe Womack said three bodies were pulled from the wreckage of homes in a subdivision of Gallatin, about 24 miles northeast of Nashville.

It was the second wave of violent weather to hit Tennessee in less than a week. Last weekend, thunderstorms and tornadoes killed 24 people in the western part of the state and destroyed more than 1,000 homes and buildings.

That's terrible. Tennessee is being hit hard this year. Are these storms coming out of nowhere with no warning?
