"Government Mule"

Good call, although Warren Haynes was rock and roll enough for the Allman Bros.

Taylor would suit the Mule's material just fine. Although being from Ashville NC, you would think Chris is at least aware of them.

That's the one Chris should do. It would be the perfect way to show that he can sing a song without screaming it. And he would be able to stay true to his style.

Hicks could do well with it, too.

it depends on their definition of 'undiscovered'

I believe the only requirements are to be within the correct age range and not to currently be under a recording contract. Phrases like "undiscovered" are pure marketing and have nothing to do with the AI rules.

Jennifer was on AI two years ago, made the final 10, but got voted off somewhere around 4th place.

More like 7th. That was the Elton John hissy-fit week where he claimed racism, completely ignoring all of the weeks where the bottom three was completly filled by the white kids.

I swear to God if the Gherkin wins this year, this will be my last season watching Idol.

The Gherkin's cuteness and dumb act have gotten her this far, but her singing has been marginal at best.

Now that most of the fat has been trimmed from the competition (Melissa, Pee Wee and Lisa), there won't be any room left for her to hide. I say she goes in the next three weeks.

EXCLUSIVE: RCA REMOVES CLAY AIKEN FROM WEBSITE
Is the gay sex scandal surrounding singer Clay Aiken really threatening his long awaited next CD release? All indicators point to yes.
This past weekend RCA records posted on the company's website a list of upcoming releases from artists on it's roster, including a promised June 20th release date for Aiken.
Less than 24 hours later, in a sudden reversal of decision, Aiken's name and release date were unceremoniously deleted from the site, leading to great howls of despair from beleaguered Claymates.
Previously published reports from Entertainment Weekly and a statement from Aiken's representatives had put forward a May release.

Well....her butt isn't against a wall is it? There must be an other side.

Yes, but it is there a photo of it--and if so, do we want to see it? :)

Katharine bottom two!!!!!

Actually, Ryan never said that. He simply sent Ace back to safety. Ace very well could have been in the bottom two, but keeping Katharine (I'm going to have to get used to that odd spelling...) up there was better drama, regardless.

I truly believe that whatever somebody does to achieve a level of spiritual awareness is ok, providing it doesn't hurt anyone else. But this Scientologist thing is the STUPIDEST thing I've ever seen! I really didn't know what they stood for until South Park, honestly. WOW...what a bunch of idiots.

Hey that's right. I think Ace is in more danger anyway because how he's been in the bottom three twice. Being there once can be a fluke (like Bo last year). But being there more than once is a trend.

"Devil Went Down to Georgia" is absolutely NOT for Chris! Think about it ... most of that song is spoken, not sung, and the part that is sung has very little range.

In other words, perfect for Chris. Or better yet, Bucky.

There's a Shania song called, I think, "I Feel Like a Woman". That would be a great one for Katherine, too.

Yes or "That don't impress me much"....
