AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- A Chicago artist accused of stowing away on a plane out of St. Louis to attend a music festival in Texas faces a federal charge.
33-year-old Catherine "Cat" Chow was on the standby list for an American Airlines flight from St. Louis to Austin. When she found out the flight was full, Chow snuck onto the plane and hid in the bathroom.
A flight attendant finally discovered that the woman didn't have a ticket, and Chow was arrested in Austin. She was trying to get to the city's annual South by Southwest Festival.
