Well, the Love Boat story goes on and one and on...
I'll bet the first half hour of court was quite interesting, listening to high-paid lawyers discuss exactly what constitutes a lap dance.
I thought I'd post this story because of the potentially titillating headline. It seems sure to get some responses from the FR crowd.
Opinions or comments - anyone?

I never really understood why what they did was considered criminal. Are the alleged to have hired prostitutes (and if so, why would professional athletes ever have to PAY women to sleep with them?)
If it's just lap dancing and sexual touching, doesn't that happen in strip clubs around the country (not in Virginia, mind you, we don't allow that sort of thing, but other places).

I swear, these footballer guys must have the IQs of mud puddles.
Hah! The judge asked for a definition of a lap dance because he didn't know of any applying case law on the question. Now that is rich. Very rich indeed.

There's no basis for this suit. That the woman gyrated in front of the guy doesn't mean she can sue him.

I'm flattered you think I have expertise in this area, but the only dancing I'm familiar with is square dancing. I'm quite fetching in my checkered skirt & petticoat too!

They don't have to, oddly it may be safer. Some tramp can claim they were raped or get pregnant on purpose. I suppose a prostitute could do the same however.

Sheesh. I saw Vikings and thought it was about kitties.
I need a vacation.

lap dances: when a dancer straddles a seated customer and may be rubbing her body against a customers genitals for sexual arousal. Culpepper: "But I was not seated"

It was just like we were in a really crowded elevator, except we weren't.
