I never really understood why what they did was considered criminal. Are the alleged to have hired prostitutes (and if so, why would professional athletes ever have to PAY women to sleep with them?)
If it's just lap dancing and sexual touching, doesn't that happen in strip clubs around the country (not in Virginia, mind you, we don't allow that sort of thing, but other places).
They don't have to, oddly it may be safer. Some tramp can claim they were raped or get pregnant on purpose. I suppose a prostitute could do the same however.
