Interesting and this may explain a few things for my wife as of late. She has Transverse Myelitis from Polio Relapse Syndrome. Polio like MS destroys the myelin. She's been on Lipitor for about 3 months due to a change in insurance drug formularies. Before then she was on Pravachol. She had a physical this month and had some noted improvement. Her left arm was reflexive in reaction to the hammer and her fingers in both hands are showing some improvement in fine motor function. This despite the fact the onset of TM was over 20 years ago.
We just passed this off as a fluke until I showed her this article. The down side is her liver blood work came back abnormal this time and we suspect the Lipitor as the culprit.

(If it was wrong for Clinton why do some support it for Bush? Party over nation destroys the nation.)

This is great. My wife is on Copaxone.
Unfortunately, nothing is certain, and this, in humans could be unpredictable.
Does anyone have any further information on testing in humans?
