Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

I feel the same way. Some things just weren't meant for public consumption.

I have slowly been working my way through "Peace Kills".
His report on the Washington DC demonstrations makes you want to both laugh and cry.

Has anyone here read Stephen King's
On Writing?I know that it was probably directed more towards amateur-rather than professional-scribblers, but it seemed like a great all-around how-to book, with good advice even for people who make a living at it, or who've been writing for most of their adult lives.
I've heard people who aren't even fans of his fiction reccomend that book, and I thought it was pretty helpful myself.

I read it when it first came out. But then, I've read everything he's ever had published...

Er, no. My Phi prof is a guy. Or so I think.
The lady is both a classmate and a good friend of mine. She recently had stuff done, and I'm helping out with the driving, etc.
She drove me around for a couple weeks when my van died last December, and now I'm repaying the favor ;)

Especially in a house of "higher education." I know it's difficult, but a teacher should not "teach" personal opinions in the course of the class. It's not ethical.
I'm glad I'm not you!! I think I might have been publicly humiliated. (After I vented, of course.)

If you like shopping at thrift/second-hand stores, we both got some REALLY good stuff!
But then, I always do when I'm with her. I got a gorgeous floor lamp, with crystal accents and finial for $4. :o]

Um, no. It's not that far...
Seriously though, I'm 20 and I've never been dating. Not even remotely close. :^|
I'm not too concerned (fact, I could care less), but everyone around me is. Case in point--I rarely have a run-in with my godmother and my grandmother without them at least implying The Question.

Well, I can't say that.
But for the most part I've either read-or will read-most of his major works.
In fact, I have an entire bookcase filled with books he's written, believe it or not.

Never been in a position either to make a serious run, either.
Then again, I AM interested in politics and *nix--as the old joke goes, the two interests that turn off women ;)
