Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

"Honestly, what will they think of next?" Asteroid ping-pong.
You see, the gravity is so light, the ping-pong ball goes into sub-orbit. Your opponent is on the other side of the asteroid, and he has to hit it back to you.
It's going to be all the rage, but it is a little slow.

Have a good rest!

We are truly lucky to have this great man (GWB).For the past five years, I would have walked the earth barefoot to support President GW Bush.
Now, his misguided, insane amnesty guest worker plan has finally pushed me over the edge to where I now see him as a deceptive, out-of-touch elitist who cannot be trusted with the future of this great country.
Why the sudden shift? Because if we were to suddenly fling open the doors to these 12-million (I guestimate 20 million) border jumping illegal immigrants, it will create a NEW flood of border jumping illegals to this country that would make the past five years look like a slow trickle.
Bush, McCain, Kennedy and the other border-jumping supporters have obviously never lived, and I mean LIVED, in any East, West, or South coast town which in the past five years have turned into mini-third world nations, complete with cockfights and 'no-englais' areas that rival any banana dictatorship of Central America.
Nothing against Central American countries, or Mexico for that matter, but any jerkhead knows by instinct that if you inflow nationalistic illegals by the millions, they will think and vote like the country from which they just fled.
I refuse to have my daughters and granddaughters fight to speak English, or to retain an American culture that until recently has been the greatest, safest in the world.
Nearly TEN PERCENT of the channels on local cable-TV are in Spanish only. Businesses greet you in Spanish until you tell them you're not.
Cockfighting and dogfighting has become the rage in several local areas as the culture of south of the border quickly subsumes our American way of life.

I'm outta here, kids. I'll post something later today. I'm afraid I'll have withdrawal symptoms if I don't.

I got a call on Sunday from a guy claiming to be doing some kind of Neilsen survey, I picked up the 'phone, said, "Hello", and he launched into his speil -- in Spanish.
I was so stunned I let him carry on until he asked his first question, at which point I made my "No hablo" and he apologized and asked again in English: "Are you hispanic or latino?" I said "No" and that was the end of the survey.
I can only assume -- because it's glaringly obvious -- that had I not been a gringo, there'd have been a slew of additional questions about my TV viewing habits.
THAT is our "America" in 2006.

Add my "welcome" to your growing list of greetings, both to FR and to this meandering thread.
Now you've got to invest some time building a Profile page for yourself so's we all have a better idea who y'are an where y're comin' from.
Lots of FReepers have great profile pages, so there's a rich gallery of ideas out there; just click on anyone's screen name where it appears on a "by" line.

I wonder where they buy them ...

Amazon.com?
We rarely go to a bookstore, because that leads to buying books, which cost money and require storage. However, I needed a particular kind of blank journal. My father's 70th bithday is in June, and we're going to write him a book of things we remember about him.
