Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

I wonder is it possible for the AntiChrist to be female?

"Anyone been outside yet?" Nope. I think someone may be preparing an excursion to Valles Marinaris, but I haven't released any shuttles as yet.
They may be putting together a land vehicle of sorts.
Mars needs a few pick-up trucks, I think.

Two packets Quaker "Cinnamon Roll" oatmeal. 1 mug of coffe (equal to about 6 normal cups). Handful of vitamins and stuff. My typical breakfast. 10-12gr of protein @ around 320 calories. I'll follow that up with 2 liters of water over the next two hours followed by a protein shake. 160 calories and 30gr of protein. Another liter of water followed up by lunch around 12:30. About 3, I'll have a protein bar. 23gr of protein and 290 calories. Should be trading those nasty bars in on a "lean gainer" protein shake later this week. My average dinner is between 1000-1200 calories with at least 12oz of meat which, depending on the type of meat, should be providing another 75-100gr of protein. Snacks in the evening are either lunch meat (another 10gr of protein per four slices), nuts (peanuts/walnuts/cashews), or fruit.
Diet has nothing to do with it. This is just how I prefer to eat. It sounds like a lot of food, but it isn't really once you are looking right at it. The above listing rarely exceeds 2800 calories and my two main meals are pretty diverse. Todays lunch will be leftover chili and dinner will be a 18oz t-bone and steamed brocolli with an apple or two for desert.

"We need to live in a trinary star system - it will be moring everywhere all the time!" If my plans to develop Mars come to fruition, that's what you'd have!
I want to put up mirrors to reflect sunlight onto the dawn and twilight sides of Mars, and have perpetual daylight.
The purpose of it would be to warm up the place, but think of the growing season you would have!

"Todays lunch will be leftover chili and dinner will be a 18oz t-bone and steamed brocolli with an apple or two for desert." Dang it, Texas is too far away.
Hey, DC! Are you putting together a land excursion to see the Canyon?

Yes, and it's also possible for there to be more than one. Anyone who deliberately preaches against the Gospel and Divinity of Jesus Christ is an anti-Christ.

No. The book of Revelations specificly uses a masculine description for the AntiChrist and the false prophet. Lucifer, of course, is neither male nor female, but one of the Cherubim ranking Second only to the Four Seraphim.

Oh. Your second query, "Is it from grass and tree pollen, or did you have a reaction from visitng DU?"
It's most probably dust. When I lived here before, I had Valley Fever, which resembles TB in most of it's symptoms. It's caused by spores in the soil that are exposed during construction.
It's called "Valley Fever" because it actually drifted here on the wind from the San Joaquin Valley in CA, when they began to process the soil for crops.
It was bad enough when I was here last that it cause a dime-sized spot on my left lung. The spot is gone, now, but I suspect the Valley Fever is back. At least, as much as it can be for me having CFIDS. That keeps my immune system "up-regulated" so it's difficult for anything but allergies to take hold.

This one?

Nah... wanna do some rock climbing on Olympus Mons before I get around to that. May want to head to the South Pole and do some CO2 snow skiing. I converted a couple of snowmobiles over to ethanol and gusseted all the bearing races for the tracks and engines with Teflon seals. Should keep the baby-powder fine Martian sand from making hash of the innards.

A standard vehicle won't work on Mars; no Oxygen to burn.
On the good side, an electric should have better range because of the reduced gravity.

An insulated tank for liquid oxygen and you're all set.
By the way, I don't think CO2 snow works like water ice. No regelation. It might be more like dune surfing.

I can try and convert a couple of our cargo loaders into a couple of these:

Will that work? I'd also like to try and work on a modified ultra-light aircraft designed with Martian atomsphere/gravity in mind. Something along the lines of Trek Aerospaces Springtail EFV-4B.

In that picture, our landing spot is just above the thing that looks like a periscope, if you picture Valles Marinaris as a submarine.
That means the canyon is betwen you and the South Pole, making it a heck of a long drive. No way you could carry enough fuel.
I'd suggest puttering around locally until the shuttles are released, just another couple of days.
Olympus Mons is that big navel-looking thing to the left.

WHOA! COOL! Yah! That's what I'M talkin' about!
The big tires should be a bonus for the rocky terrain. But wouldn't they have to be extra thick to keep from being cut to shreds? Or perhaps made of Kevlar?

Yep. I'm all set. I'm expecting temps in the -200F range. Hoping to catylize CO
2< into LOX and carbon with some of those new carbon/carbon solar cells to provide a little juice.
I'm expecting it to be exactly like dune surfing with the exeception that some of the pwoder ridges will be much higher, the "snow" a lot more powdery ect...
Did we leave any ComSats in orbit on our way down? Wondering how I'm gonna shout for help if I run into trouble...
