Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

That's a good policy! On the Undead Thread, we look for agreement, congruence, and all around good-fellowship, so if there seems to be a conflict of opinion, we can always work around it.
Out in the real world, things aren't that great!

I had a hard time getting used to mushrooms, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, and fried eggs. Mushrooms took me until I was 28. The others were sooner, though none during the same year.
I may try mole again, but not for a while. I'll wait till I get to LV. They might do it different there, who knows.

Those are all things I liked the first time. You probably won't find any different mole in Las Vegas; it's a Mexican dish, so Mexican cooks make it roughly the same way.

God only made One Perfect Man, and He was crucified for that Perfection. Which means, we, as imperfect beings, must try all the harder to be Christ-like.
Jesus was angry at the money changers, angry at greed, if I understand it right.
All Jesus did, was to show us all that God exists, within each one of us, just as God existed within Him.
We are all capable of Miracles. The only thing we lack is trust.
With God in our hearts, nothing is really a miracle, it's just God's will.
The only reason I used the phrase "All Jesus did," above, was to point out how simple our salvation really is. Look what He had to go through, to show us, and share God's love.
I hope I haven't offended anyone. I'm glad for the opportunity to discuss Jesus here, with my FRiends.
Happy Easter.

No, they aren't, and I've had to take that into consideration with regard to the future. It is much more difficult to talk to people about God, truth, and morality in a culture that practically breathes relativism.

Ah. I don't blame you a bit. I have some of those that always accompany me.
I hope the weather is good for your trip, and I hope the "cool" gorgeous weather lasts at least until you're all moved in!

"National Geographic is one of the worst, both for their ridiculous coverage of the Gnostic Judas text and their latest attempt at historical revisionism in the form of a one-hour special using the far-left and just plain wacko minority in Biblical scholarship"
LOL! The left has never dealt with reason or logic, let alone moral and ethical imperatives. For them, historical revisionism is as natural for them as shaving. One cannot design their own morality anymore than one can draft a tort, but the left attempts to do so on a daily basis.

I've seldom seen a documentary about Jesus or anything pertaining to him or his teachings that I felt was "accurate." I'm no theologian, but I do know that some concepts have stretched credibility too far. You can "feel" it when it's wrong.

Must go -- things are moving forward for the eventual presentation of our supper, and I have to do my part (change diapers, feed baby, etc.)
A good meal to all, and to all a good night, if I don't come back!

I lived in a Mexican community in TX, and had Mole from different cooks. I'm willing to try it again, but if they all had the same "auntie" teaching them to cook, it's a lost cause.
It's actually about the only Mexican food I don't like.
