Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!

Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger

I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.

Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.

Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!

Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.

We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

And you're right ~~ I often lose sight of the fact that other people need analogies in order to understand a concept. Thanks for reminding me. (My bad. And on Easter, too!)

I'm seriously considering going into evangelism. Thinking from many different perspectives is something that I've had to learn.

"examine the motive behind it."

Yeah, you can't make deals to get into Heaven.

it is possible for a true believer to willfully sin

Oh, I agree. I was just saying that that perspective didn't describe my own struggles with sin, as a general rule. There are some times when I consciously reason, "I know I shouldn't do this, but I'm going to do it anyway!"

Ok.

LOL! I love how we write these two or three paragraph posts for Irish to respond with three words or less. ;)

Maybe he knows something we don't.

If you don't like Mole, you don't. It's not necessarily an "acquired taste," because some people like it the first time, but on the other hand, some people will never like it.

If we ever move back to the Southwest, the food will be a main reason. (There would have to be an incredible job offer, too.)

Aw, now! That ain't fair.

Here you had me thinkin' the squirrel was a goner.

Well , I might as well throw this away, then ...

Could you do verse about my Black Lab, Solitaire catching a squirrel on Easter morning....

Ante Up, Solitaire!

On a merry Sunday morning, Black Death came to call,
Among the tribe of farmers who’ve been patient since the Fall.
With Springtime come upon us, who would not have felt the joy,
And been remiss in watchfulness, and cautions to employ?

So now we lay to rest our late beloved, Skitterin’,
Who falls to an inevitable and awful bitter end.
We try to give the warnings, we move about in fear,
And still another one of us falls early in the year.

It is our lot in life, they say, the predators must win,
Our only hope in fighting back is simply to begin,
More new lives with a confidence, indeed a battle cry!
You have not heard the last of us, we people of the sky!

You lot may rule the underworld, but we live in the air,
And we are closer to the heaven where we send our prayer.
Some day we all will unify, in a gatherings of souls,
And won’t the predators be stunned to find the switching of the roles.

As lightning death sweeps down upon the running dogs of war,
To show them we can turn about, and show what air is for.
We will become as Eagles! Even shadows will cause fear.
And dogs will tremble at the sight of shadows drawing near.

From the Eulogy for Skitterin’,
As read by the Council of Squirrels,
Of McKinsey Park . . . . . . April 16, 2006

You could be a Devil's Advocate. You seem to know enough that you could argue from all sides and still come out winning with the Truth.

:-).

When a person (such as yourself, or me) says something that's inarguably correct, a brief agreement suffices!

It is my personal policy to issue a preemptive warning shot when dealing in matters of doctrine with believers. You handled it well! ;)

How is your Easter going so far? Is it as pretty in Scottsdale as it is here?

I am still in LA. I leave at 5 am, and I am driving with some valuable belongings I dare not trust to the movers. Should be there by 11 am.

Thanks. That really does mean a lot.

I was watching a few of the Jesus specials over the last week, and just got fed up with some of them. National Geographic is one of the worst, both for their ridiculous coverage of the Gnostic Judas text and their latest attempt at historical revisionism in the form of a one-hour special using the far-left and just plain wacko minority in Biblical scholarship. Experts, of course.
