Just found out that it looks like my hubby will be retiring three or four months early...and that means the next few months will be getting everything ready to move from Ogden to Boise.
I just love moves (not!). Now I have to look and see what's worth keeping. Yards of fabric. Bundles of yarn. Crafting magazines. Books. Threads.
Yuck.
Will this mean I finish any of the products I have on the needles or waiting to be sewn?
That's the only thing I like about moving . . . getting to see what I forgot I bought!
I like to move because my kitchen cupboards get clean. :)
Today, I'm working on drapes for my sil. I've been teaching her how to sew. My brother bought her a sewing machine for Christmas (she's never used a sewing machine before). We've measured, designed, purchased material, cut and now started the actual sewing yesterday. We've been meeting once a week, at her house. I've been hauling my machine and supplies to her place. I'm putting the beads on, kind of complex for a rookie. It's been pretty fun, she's catching on quite fast. This all started because the drapes she wanted were quoted at $3,700. So far, her cost is under $400, including two 8 foot rods.
Naw! Just get some plastic tubs and take it all. Never know when you're gonna need something...
