"I interpret the monuments of Markawasi as incredible simulacra - - that is, in this case, natural objects that in the minds eye take the shape of forms of other entities, such as human faces and animals. I believe they were recognized as such even in very remote ancient times. Gods, Graves, Glyphs (alpha order)
Whoops! Forgot to plaster in the date, which is 2005.
I didn't post the best of the images, just a link thereto, in order to avoid saddling Dr. Schoch with bandwidth trouble.
Wow. I just see rocks.
Are you suuuuure ancient people recognised it as the things you recognize? You know aztecs saw a rabbit in the moon, so do i. But most western claim they can't see a rabbit only a smiley face. In the past people in the west saw yet other things i heard, and today in some eastern countries the also see a rabbit. Different cultures see different things in natures Rochsaw tests.
What a neat place.
