"Impeach Bush" yard signs [vanity)
03.17.06

Posted on 03/16/2006 9:16:50 PM PST by quantim

So I had to run a long-distance errand today and took a shortcut through a couple of Ann Arbor, MI neighborhoods.  I knew I was entering hostile, bizarre, epitome of leftist U-M campus territory but was unprepared for what I saw.  I live only perhaps a dozen or so miles north of AA in a strong republican/conservative area. 'Kerry' signs were largely absent in the last election in this area.

There were so many "IMPEACH BUSH" signs everywhere, every few houses I couldn't count them.  If I saw dozens in a two mile stretch, there must have been thousands nearby.  Total campaign mode.

I searched but could not the actual yard signs I saw but they're selling them on ebay and this is a pretty close facsimile:

It is a cruel irony that in this particular area where these elitists exude their usurpation idealisms and their commensurate thinking practices have resulted in arguably the biggest modern day ghetto in America, failed big gubmint' experiment, a once proud city called Detroit is only 40 miles away, that was profoundly instrumental in winning WWII.

This contrast could not be more stark on liberal 'class warfare.'

The enemy is within, and I thought RINOs were bad.

Is this going on elsewhere?

What just makes my blood boil is that there is NO RESPECT for the American people and their vote.

The election 16 months ago and the President was overwhelmingly re-elected. The "I" word campaign began within months, without a single valid reason. Disgusting and unbelievable.

Did you know about the "revolution" that was to take place yesterday? They planned to storm the WH and force the President out. It has been "rescheduled" for Monday. **shaking head**

I wonder how Republican neighbors socialize with this person?

Burning effigy's? Nah, that's not "environmentally friendly". Nah, "Impeach Bush" is mild compared to what the loopy leftists put on their cars, windows, etc. My two faves are: A Ford Explorer with about a dozen anti-war/Bush stickers on her back window, with the most obvious one being, "How many soldiers died for a gallon of oil?" My second favorite was a Mercedes-Benz with a bumper sticker saying, "Bush/Cheney--Seig Heil!" The concept of irony was/is completely lost on these people.

The libbies are cracking up. They asserted, during the impeachment of Clinton, that he was being impeached over "mere" sex. So now, "quota" style, they are rattling the I-Ching tiles that Bush should be impeached over "mere" war. So, I guess in their worldview: SEX = WAR.

Yep.. that sounds about right coming from the Libbies.

If I lived next to an idiot like this I would put a sign in my yard with an arrow pointing at the neighbor's house saying "Only in his dreams!"

The enemy is the government.

This is similar to what I see around me in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Lots of homespun Bushies surrounding a bunch of loonies in Chapel Hill. They started wearing their "Impeach Bush" lapel pins in droves this January. We just smile and move on.
