Well, yippee, yippee, yeah, for her. Who cares?
I would think she has enough money and power now and she can show her backbone and that she thinks for herself and meet with the most powerful man on earth. What an idiot. God gives sweets to those without teeth!

FR continues too amaze me..
Everytime an "artist" stands up on stage and voices their political view everyone on FR says they should keep their views to themselves...
As soon as one does..
(Jessica Simpson refuses to meet Pres. Bush)
She must be a bimbo, airhead, how dare she not meet with him, oh the humanity!

good one :)
She's setting a good example for the rest of hollywood wackos. Politics and entertainment should be seperate.
I hear Klintoon has offered his presidential suite at the Marriot as an alternative replacement place for her to visit.
"I think CNN is wrong."
CNN wrong? I am shocked.
>I don't think this is a snub<
Okay, I admit I don't have time to read the article, but I think she's making a mistake. Either her leftist Hollywood bosses got to her, or she is making a statement on her own. It just shows to what depths the anti-Bush, anti-America crowd will stoop to in order to display their stupidity. A charity is a good place to advance one's photo opportunities, so she must be in somewhat a dilemna, poor child. The fundraiser is better off without her.
That was my guess, too. *grin*
Ha, they showed her tonight trying to piece together several sentences about her recent trip to Kenya (to see the little children who are being helped by the doctors who operate for free on children with facial deformities) and how it changed her life, a la Angelina Jolie.
(The part in parentheses is mine, since we get coverage down here all the time on the charity's work--many are Houston docs who donate their time. JS didn't say any of that.)
Instead of her little Daisy Dukes outfit and singing "these bots [translation: "bites"] were made for buppin' [translation: "popping"]" for her pizza gig, she was in a dress and had her wild mane all combed back in a slick bun at the nape of her neck, also a la Angelina Jolie.
See, she's *trying* to get closer to Laura Bush standards for Dubya, but she's got a long, long way to go.
