I am not ready to make nice with them. Yuck. She is from my home town. Lubbock, I believe, still will not play their music.

Yes, Natalie is from Lubbock and comes from a musical family. They like to tell people that they "struggled on the local music scene". BS. One of their relatives (a fella who is well-known and connected in the regional music scene) helped them a great deal. The only real struggle was for Natalie to utter the words, "Uncle, my band and I need help booking gigs. Will you call your music biz pals?"

I'm sure their music is selling really well in New York and such, yea right. I guess if you're going to burn a bridge might as well burn it good.
