Yes, Natalie is from Lubbock and comes from a musical family. They like to tell people that they "struggled on the local music scene". BS. One of their relatives (a fella who is well-known and connected in the regional music scene) helped them a great deal. The only real struggle was for Natalie to utter the words, "Uncle, my band and I need help booking gigs. Will you call your music biz pals?"

Exactly, in HS we would go to assembly to see the Maines Brothers. She didnt do squat!

Regardless of what one thinks of them politically, they defintitely paid their dues. The band had been around for 6 years or so prior to Natalie coming on board. Natalie is the 2nd or 3rd lead singer for the band.

They also wrote a bashing song about Lubboxk Tx and how "small minded" the people there are. It will also be on the album.
