Sorry I have been neglecting the kitty thread the last few weeks. Work has been very busy and the required amounts of over-time in recent weeks has pre-empted the threads. High price gas very good for business. We return with a popular topic, the office pool for the 2006 NCAA basketball tournament. If you want to win the office pool, dont follow this advice.

We had a HORRIBLE scare last night. Somehow, our front door came open and our deaf cat waltzed out without anyone noticing. We were all outside in the dark, attempting not to look stupid yelling for the deaf cat. He was no where to be found. Finally, I said, I'm taking the car down the driveway. I took the car out and down the driveway, came back up and saw his silhouette next to the house. He wasn't there on the way down the drive. I figure the car spooked him out of the woods. He is also slightly retarded and declawed. .. He was scared out of his mind. We opened the door for him and chased him around the house a few times before he figured it out that he should go IN the door. None of us would have gone to sleep with him outside all night. He had never been outside before. I'm just really happy we have him back.
See number 61....
IBTZ!
I was down to one 22 year old cat and thinking I'll go without when she's gone. Somehow, the stray community got wind of this and cats began spilling into the house. I think it's a cosmic thing.
I have two black cats who only try to sneak out on rainy nights. They get out there and they always panic and run.
It stops your heart, I know.
I understand!

Love it!
Kliban cats! I have a couple of coffee mugs with this picture and poem/song on it.
Oh my, Abner, I'm so glad that you found that sweet boy. Where was Trouble? I would have done the same thing.
DC came in, flew down into the basement and hid under the stairs. We coaxed him out with a heavy hand, and he settled in on the kitchen floor. He wasn't present in the bedroom til about 3 AM... I think he was embarrassed. I'm just relieved we got him. 5.5 acres of woods...
Oh, you mean this:
What Zot? Don't like my picks?
And therefore....
....ZOT.
