Phil Leotardo is the boss in NY now that Johnny Sack is in jail so I don't think that the peace Tony made with Johnny means anything now. Expect trouble. Also, there is word that there is going to be a huge surprise at the end of the first episode on Sunday. Oh, and one of the main characters dies in the first episode, they just didn't say who.

Remember last seaon, when Meadow's boyfriend said he wouldn't take a low-paying job because he would be taking it away from a minority?
Typical liberal guilt.

My girlfriend and I rented season 5 last week to recap before the new season started. I told her that I hope T finds out that Carmela cheated, so he would dump her. She said "Are you kidding me? Tony cheated on her every chance he got", to which I responded "Yeah, but it's different. He's a guy." (I said this to see what kind of reaction I would get from her).
All is not well in my household still.

Does it still start at 8 pm on the west coast?

One interesting theory is that this was in fact the last episode and remaining shows will go back and fill in what happened since the previous series - there seems to be about a year's worth of action missing, and a lot seems to have happened - daughter points out that for probably the first time there were no previews of what was going to happen next week - the program continues to fascinate......

if he's in a coma again next week, i'm not going to watch it...what a lousy show.

Last night was the Sopranos' version of "That's My Dog" (Six Feet Under viewers will know what I'm talking about.) Worst. Episode. Ever.

OK, I finally saw the second episode. Am I the only one here who thinks Carmella looks like Cindy Sheehan?
What's with the enormous hole in Tony's belly? I thought bullets made a small hole going in?

Tonight's show was all over the place. I give it a 6/10. Paulie finds out about his real mother...and goes berserk...beating up poor salf centered Jason..and cutting off his "mom" at the posh nursing home.
The born again Colson minister stops by and Soprano and boys are quietly respectful... they actually pray together in the first meeting although the bit about the dinosaurs was exagerrated.
