How Do I sign Up for Paid Postings? (Step up to big $$$ as a lightning rod)
Posted on 03/10/2006 8:50:44 AM PST by not peter
I am looking for work at home opportunities. I've tried paid surveys, but I find that I can make very little money doing that. However, I have heard that one can be paid to post positive comments about President Bush on certain Internet boards.
Does anyone have any information on how I can sign up for that?

Screenshot from Homeworld 2 (multi-beam frigate attack against an enemy shipyard in this specific shot). The first one is much less complex. The second one has better graphics but requires a lot of micromanegement since you can control the individucal sub-systems of ships. Both are great though.

Really cool!
I love space based strategy games. All the way back to Star Commander.
I am surprised that I haven't seen it at the computer store. I am going to look for it at lunch today.
Seems to be a trend towards Internet games which require a fee after you have purchased the game. The shelves are full of them.
Added bonus: game's list price is $19.99 and it looks like there are add-on packs. May have to buy it via the Internet.
Good game for my son. He and I have played Diablo a lot. Won it four times. Lots of good father/son bonding time. Been looking for another good LAN game.

I don't know. There may be a bounty on trolls but they have to be zotted in a politically correct manner. You have to toy with them for hours before you close in for the Zot.

I love space-based stategy games too :) I especially love the story of the Homeworld series. It is epic. I wish there was more. Homeworld 2 is still sold in stores but you will usually only find it at places like CompUSA. Homeworld 1 is not in print anymore but is easy to find in places that sell pre-owned PC games (like EB Games) or online.
Yeah I know. Pay-to-play games seem to be the most popular right now. Even trumping First Person Shooters.
I have played both Diablo games a lot. If you like Diablo I would recommend Restricted Area which is like a sci-fi Diablo. You get things like laser weapons, cybernetics, psionics, genetic modification, even the ability to hack into the security systems of the enemy's various bases and fortresses in the game. It is like Deus Ex or System Shock/System Shock 2 (those three are also great games) from an isometric perpective.

Homeworld 2 requires a bear of a system to run (although not nearly as much as more recent games need). You will want at least 1 GHZ, 256MB of RAM and a GeForce3 to get the best out of it.

When you do get it, if you need gameplay tips, feel free to FReepmail me. I know the game like the back of my hand.

Those are exactly the specs for my son's computer. Mine is better/newer.
Have both CompUSA and EB here in Colorado. Also, will look into Restricted Area. Thanks!
