Fla. Motorist Drives 17 Miles Wrong Way On I-80

POSTED: 11:53 am EST March 8, 2006

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- Pennsylvania police say a Florida man drove 17 miles in the wrong direction on an interstate before he was finally pulled over.

Police said John William Fisher Junior appeared confused when he was stopped. A trooper who pursued the SUV said Fisher had a can of beer on the console and was slurring his words.

The trooper said Fisher was then taken to a medical center, where his blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit of .08 percent.

He was arraigned on charges including driving under the influence and jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing next Wednesday.

Why was it "Florida motorist" instead of "Drunk motorist"?

He was probably driving one of those killer SUV's too.

And George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and several Halliburton employees were probably in the deadly SUV with him.

Could this have something to do with his apparent confusion?

To teach him a lesson, they made him cross over to the other side and drive the whole 17 miles back.

John William Fisher Junior (and why is that when they want to portray you as either a redneck or a bad guy, they use your first AND middle names?) didn't add "Boy, it wasn't one guy going the wrong way, there were hundreds!"
