Well, the ACC has a rich tradition and Memphis does not. Perhaps unfair, but that is the way it is.

You got that right. How does the #1 team lose twice and only drop two spots. Duke cannot beat Memphis, UConn, or Gonzaga.

Duke losing to FSU last week; and beating FSU at the earlier meeting with officiating so bad, the refs were suspended for a game.

I think the leader with players in the NBA is Duke with 30. North Carolina is second with 29 and I think Arizona is third.

There is also a rivalry between the two which adds to the hype.

Thats OK by me...let them hype the ACC and Big East...and then watch the OSU Buckeyes and the Big Ten stun everyone come tourney time. Um, I'm not biased or anything...
