The official said investigators have cell phone records possibly linking the bouncer to the spot where St. Guillen was found. The records show his phone was used in the same vicinity about two hours before police — responding to an anonymous 911 from a public phone — discovered her naked and bound body.

Alcohol and women alone is usually a bad idea. From what I have read about this guy, he doesn't fit any profile of someone who would do something this gruesome. Of course with all his aliases, who knows. Sad, very sad.

The bouncer's aunt told reporters outside his home in Queens that she could not believe he was responsible for the crime.

"To me, this would be out of character for him," Addie Harris said. "Even though he had a past record, it had nothing, no type of violence or anything in it that I know toward women."

I'm glad we got the "he was a good boy" quote. Wouldn't be a good journalism without it.

A reporter from New York was on Court TV yesterday. The bouncer is black, and he called the reporter to tell her that the police were following him and bothering him "because he was the only black that worked at the bar".
