I have a think for camels, mummies and very old stuff too ;)

Iraq has camels and really old stuff, too.

What? You don't want to take a vacation here?

The weather this time of year is lovely. (Well, except for the sandstorm we're kind of having right now...)

Take the boat the the lake
Work on various projects around the house

Go to boat, car, or rv shows
Vacation anywhere outside of Vegas
...I'm sure there's more...

Oh I would love to go to Iraq (yes, I'm weird)....

Look,
Las Vegas? ick
New York? Dear lord in heaven, too much concrete....

But you could drop me in Siberia with a blow dryer to thaw out a wooly mammoth and I'd be happier than a kid at Christmas.

Really.

Well, errr...ummm...

So am I. LOL

I do love going to New York, though. I'm a theater geek and NYC is the Mecca.

But no way could I live there.

Hi, laney:

Free time?

An odd concept.

Shoot Trap and Skeet. Hone Handgun and BushMaster Skills.

Attempt to write the definitive Noir novella ala Hammett and Chandler.

Join in the weekly Friday Night FReep at Walter Reed whenever possible.

Expand my collection of "Post-Cataclysm" Batman and New Batgirl comics.

Continue with the Conservative education and inoculation of my niece, who's off to college in the Fall.

Feed and keep an eye on the four stray cats that hang around the house for free meals.

Jack.

BTW, you must let me know how you learned to knit cat hair. I can't even knit with regular wool. Do you make long threads out of the hairs, or do you just use teensy little knitting needles?

Well, of course, it's little easier if you have a long-haired cat.

But I have a a special loom that weaves them together. I meant to give you one of my hand-made cat-hair scarves last Christmas, but I haven't collected much cat hair over the last couple of years.

I make the sweaters and scarves in two colors - orange and multi-colored. Which one would you like?

I've always wanted to see Egypt. We'll have to hurry and get you over here so we can go together. It's not that far from here, ya know. ;-)

You live a full life.

You'll have to try some of my toenail crunch cookies sometime. They're even better when you add walnuts.

I harass and harangue the hell out of local politicians, and have for 40 years. I also read, hunt, garden and search for a good pub.
