The transmogrification is complete. Actress-turned-poker-star Jennifer Tilly has become so infatuated with high stakes Texas Hold 'Em, that for the first time in more than a decade, I sense a selfish reason. At the Oscar's she gets overshadowed by hundreds of other actors and actresses more famous than her (with more and/or better movies on their resume). At a Texas Hold Em game, she gets to be the big fish in a small pond.

I had a personalized Academy Award night. Watched Patton. Then I watched Young Frankenstein. OK, so that wasn't an Oscar winner, but it was a danged fun movie.
