Happy Sunday the 5 of March 2006 Everybody!
For any of you who like the Good 'Ol Days/Golden Years of Comedy, especially Slapstick/Silliness....or just happen to be extremely tickled by the world-famous trio of knuckleheads.....
Welcome! "Sit down" and share, talk about & list our Favorite Stooge moments, quotes, incidents memories etc.
Moe: " Start Talkin'! "
Officer Joe Bolton!! He was the best! And I also raced home to catch it. When he twirled his baton, this world was a fine place to live. :-)
that was great!
Oh man, You guys are all on the right track but forget the best line.
After Curly speaks jive the lawyer says "drop the venacular."
Curly looks at him, with hat in hand and says..."vernacular? That's a Doiby."
Bank robber Terry Hardigan hides in the Stooges' tailor shop. The cop chasing him gets accosted by the Stooges, trying to sell him a coat.
Cop- "I don't want a coat, I don't want a coat, I don't want a coat."
Stooges- "Ohhhh, he don't want a coat."
After everyone leaves, the Stooges look at the bank robbers coat, with TH initials. Shemp says TH stands for "Teddy Hoosville", Moe smacks him. Larry says "I got it, I got it...Thomas Headison." Moe smacks him.
"Hotel Maitre d': "This bed once belong to Louis XVI!"
Shemp: "That's nothing. I once had a bed that belonged to Sears-Roebuck!"
Close but not quite. "This bed goes back to Louis the XVI."
"I have a dresser that goes back to Sears on the 3rd."
Dodge, Duck, Hyde
Yep and Shemp was actually Samuel. Their parents were Romanian immigrants and the mother could not speak good English. When she tried to say Samuel it came out sounding like Shemp.
Curly's hobby besides women was collecting dogs. Larry was actually a good musician {violinist} but being a stooge paid better.
Shemp was a stooge twice actually. He left once and Curly took his place then when Curly had a stroke Shemp returned for a year or two.

Lawyer "Address the Judge as Your Honor"
Curly "Ok my honor, I was..."
Lawyer "Not my Honor, your Honor."
Curly "Why, don't you like him?"

"Let's pump in a few more slices."
Well, I haven't seen it in a while.
Larry: "Press"
Curly: "Pull nyuk nyuk.."
or
Moe: "Oh a microphoney!"
Curly: "And a phoney at the mic!"
Why I oughta...
L

"Ma HA" "Ah Ha."

We'll never see their kind again.
Rest in Peace
Curly & Shemp died too soon. But Curly didn't take care of himself though. There was a movie about 15 years ago I think where this guy {maybe Flounder from Animal House} was seeing 3 Stooges episodes every where he went. If he looked at a wall it starting showing part of a show but I can't remember the name of it right off. I don't ever get tired of watching them. I reckon Curly was my favorite though.
Curly: It's a 'doiby!
