Paula Abdul - make rehab your own. The “American Idol” judge was incoherent on last night’s live telecast, bumbling lines and giggling like she’d just emerged from a Grateful Dead concert, leaving audiences, contestants and host Ryan Seacrest more confused than a homophobic Clay Aiken fan. When Seacrest asked Abdul why two contestants received the fewest votes, she mumbled, head in hands, “Simon said because one of them ate pizza and the other ate salad.”

A shocked Seacrest responded, “You guys realize we’re on the air?” Abdul got it together for a few minutes, but during the second round of cuts, she was back to her odd behavior. “What did you tell me Simon?” she said, slurring her words. “What did you tell me? Simon gave me advice and said on “The X Factor” he always refers to a fortune cookie and says the moth who finds the melon - (laugher) - finds the corn flake always finds the melon and one of you didn’t pick the right fortune.” Huh? Seacrest wasn’t happy, but fellow judges Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell seemed amused at Abdul’s impersonation of a high teenager. “I’m going to send the judges to be grounded,” Seacrest said at the end of the show, which was the swan song for four Idol hopefuls - dull crooner David Radford and Jose “Sway” Penala were ousted along with blonde bomb Heather Cox and Brenna Gethers, a Brandeis University alum who clearly majored in attitude and practically prostituted herself on live TV, looking at the camera and pleading “Let’s make some money. So Clive, call Nigel,” referring to record producer Clive Davis and “Idol” producer Nigel Lithgoe. One bright spot from last night’s train wreck was Ayla Brown’s advance to the top 16. The Wrentham teen, who is the daughter of Sen. Scott Brown (R-Wrentham) and WCVB-TV reporter Gail Huff, has been winning over America and Idol judges for weeks, proving that critic Cowell doesn’t know everything. [continue] 1 | 2 | Next »

Here's this from Las Vegas Review:

Paula Abdul Causes Security Breach

Paula Abdul, a judge on "American Idol," won't get high marks from her fellow airline passengers, and she might be hearing from Homeland Security officials.

According to an Abdul spokesman, the former pop singer and dancer was running late Thursday, trying to make her Southwest flight at McCarran International Airport, when a group of fans mobbed her.

A Southwest representative at the scene whisked her through a back access, bypassing security, and onto the Los Angeles-bound plane.

However, upon arrival in Burbank, it was announced that security had been breached, and no one could leave the plane until the re-screening process was completed.

Abdul, whose six No. 1 hits included "Rush, Rush," was trying to make the flight so she wouldn't miss Thursday's live "Idol" show.

A Southwest representative who was asked to respond did not return a call by deadline.

In January, two employees at the Silverton accused Abdul of having them fired from their graveyard-shift jobs because she says they caused her to miss a flight.

I detest this show, as well as all other forms of unreality TV. However, I do enjoy Hollywood stars lampoon and mock Ryan Seacrest.

Paula evidently ran into David Gregory and said, "I'll have what he's having".

Press releases designed specifically to excuse and whitewash their clients from bad behavior are planted by press agents of doped-up or alcoholic celebrities all the time. And star-struck fans and even normal people fall for it everytime.

These "stars" are always on "prescription" drugs for pain, injuries or depression. If they don't have an illness, find one....like "anorexia".

It's strange how these young or youngish show biz men and women have so many aillments and disabilities in the prime of life. However, these "painful disabilities" never seem to stop their constant traveling, living the high life and wildly gyrating every bone in their bodies on stages across the country.

When a press release about an entertainment personality in trouble states that he or she has a "painful illness" and was under the influence of a "prescription drug", I know that the celebrity has a real problem they are trying to cover up.
