Good morning, xsmommy:
A lot of people find it quite ponderous
That the Left is vehemently incongruous
About things and concepts most hold near and dear
Marriage is anciently over rated
Fidelity not to be even debated
The Bill of Rights is only for those drawing breath
Babies aren't even maybes. They want them to be adults
As Doctors smack their butts. While all religions save
Islam are despicable fanatical cults
Guns are for Troglodytes. Hunter-Gatherers in caves
While "Self-Medication", "Safe Sex" and Raves
Are normal and so very rarely cause harm or death
Their ideas were incredibly cool four decades past
Yet, countless survivors have found a voice at last
Rebelling in masses to kick some Liberal ass

The incongruousness of
Saddams decision to end his hunger strike because of his health is mindboggling. If he would just starve himself to death we could all just move on...... and NOBODY tell him tomorrow is Fat Tuesday!!!
I am making a chocolate torte for a meeting tonight. I am not sure what to have tomorrow.......any ideas anyone? I have yet to decide what to give up either.........the possibilities are endless.......mmm.

FELINE HAIKU
I love the Flowers
Lovely to see, touch and smell
My Heaven on Earth!
Getting muddy paws
And dirt between my claws makes
It all worth while!
Petals brush my whiskers
Luscious scents drawing me close
Tasting with my nose
As my tongue flick out
Silky texture and sweetness
Swirling my senses!
Big Fat Bumble Bee
Swirls and dips close to compete
He has superb tastes!
So many colors
Petals dripping with nectar
Choices are difficult!
Lick here and brush there
Savoring the lush sensations
As sunlight reveals all
Claws and fur dirty
Shiny and sticky. I'll clean up
After a short nap!

Whoa!
That's an eye-opener!
Thanks, Jack. Thanks everyone. I calculate it as 22,280 days. If I were born on the planet Mercury, I'd be over 250 years old ... and, of course, dead.
You guys are cool, and I love the atmosphere in this place!

Martin, I love those funoodle things for the pool, but I've never seen them used in quite that manner.
Happy Birthday NNB!

Hi, xsmommy:
I missed the WaPo (Pravda On The Potomac) article. Michelle Malkin has it and some Feedback at.

It's about halfway down.

Now you did it. She will be keeping an eye on you and start to mark down the F's. Of course, if we end up under that bus together ;)

Playing With The Cat
My Pretty One is smiling beautifully today
She received a letter from somewhere far away
Whispering about it in hints and clues
As well raised Humans seem destined to do
Her hands doing something just out of sight
She calls my name and I uncurl slowly
Padding close as a Butterfly twists in delight
Drawing me close as she subtly seeks my advice
The Butterfly spinning to tease and entice
Only to bounce away as I prepare to leap
My Pretty One's smile enchants and beguiles
As she purrs about swirling white taffeta gowns
Maids of Honor, ceremonies and promises to keep
With her Mate in the center of a wide Church aisle
As I scratch the Butterfly with a surprising bound
This Game we play is quite near and dear
As I see My Pretty One wipe away a tear
As her future approaches with all its hopes and fears
My paws open and my claws snatch and curl
Hoping there will be more of these chats between just us girls

You're not getting older, your just getting --
Oh crap...who are we kidding?
You ARE getting older than dirt...the dirt in which we will all ultimately nap.
Happy Birthday, anyway!
