LOL!

People are funny...some are pathetically funny and others are hilarious.

Programming. They do it so often, that they get into a groove and have trouble getting out of it. Especially if it's during rush time.

I can understand that. I lived across the street from that McDonald's, so most of the time, I was the only one at the counter. Which is why it was so hard for me...no confusion, no distraction...and still...I spent five minutes trying to make myself understood without being rude.

*sigh*

When trying to get at the concept of the state, the name Agamben came up. This represents some very difficult reading, but well worth the time. The state has the power of death over all its citizens, and going even farther, when the state declares a citizen dead, the citizen may still have biological life but is no longer inside the legal system. Those who have arrived at the 'camp' are outside the law already and do not exist.

Another concept that has proven very useful in making some sense of the nebulous concepts of good and happiness is to view happiness as the availablility of choice, which is discovered as a meaning of the term by resorting to etymology. As the number of available choices and productive choices increases, happiness increases. Wealth, power, health and the rest of the things seen as good in fact increase happiness by increasing choice. When all options are gone, happiness is gone. This idea is probably along the lines of existentialism.

I can see that you've had a modicum of practice...or at least, knowledge of such. ;o]

Glad you liked my HILLARY campaign ad.

I may re-post it here, but I have to finish the "irreparably damaging eyesore" calculation, first.

I now consider it a part of my civil duty to strongly recommmend to such people, in my most knowing and professional manner, that they not vote. Ever.

Luckily, a number of them are too busy being party animals to think about voting.

It used to be that voter registration was too complicated for the deeply deficient, but the Democrats have messed that up.
