I wouldn't mind having a number of my own.

Bob's number. Hmm.

Sometimes, when I look at 808, I think it looks like Bob.

My student number at the Community College was 880. That was close.

The only guy who ever laid claim to a number all his own had to settle for 6.02 X 1023.

Pretty far along toward infinity, if you ask me. Real hicksville. But it is his number, no question. Everybody says so.

I'll stake a claim on a negative integer - no one else seems to want those!!

It's okay - it's a national tourist initiative (despite the oh-so-typical shot of the Sydney Opera House that the BBC slapped on the story.)

The world sees Australia they same way they see Ireland - tired, old cliches!

You guys need some energetic, new clichés!

"Why do you think they call it IRE-land?"
"Look at all that green! There must be money to be made!"
"Ireland, continental charm, without all the rest of it!"

Even though it's an island?

It's only an island down to the depth of the Irish Sea.

In fact, it's so shallow, that if the blighters were only 200 meters tall, they could walk across from Holyhead to Dublin.

Better move the brewery inland.

It has been continuous/discontinuous since the beginning.

There are links on my about page, if you want to waste a couple of years of your life reading up on it.

After hitting "the Wall" we journeyed to about 30,000 posts with "The Bride of the Undead Thread" where the updates got glacially slow, so now we move once a month.
