OK, how's this for stressful? I got a call from one of the folks who interviewed me, who said I was their top candidate, but when he tried to call my references, they were all wrong numbers. How that could be, I have no idea, but my GOSH I'm nervous!
I called everyone back, got direct line phone numbers for most of the ones I just had extensions for, and added a few more. E-mailed him that, but he said he probably wouldn't get around to making the calls until tomorrow morning.
*bites nails*
So...I could very well be offered the job tomorrow. That's the upside. The downside is that I feel like an idiot for having references that didn't check out. Just feel sick to my stomach.

CW stands for Carrier Wave and is a common term for Morse Code. This is because the code simple consists of turning on and off a single tone. Hence on an oscilloscope it would only show up as the presence or absence of a single wave form (unlike voice transmission).
