Is that Mel doing Rasputin?
It's Mel when he was filming his latest. Somebody on the Mel thread made the comparison.
Mel is playing Rasputin? Hmmm... I'd have pictured somebody more like Christopher Lee. Lee would make a great Rasputin.
No, Mel just grew the beard when he was doing his latest film in South America.

Oh, fer cryin' out LOUD. I completely mistook those pictures. I thought the one on the left was Mel in makeup for Rasputin, and the one on the right WAS Saddam. Honestly.

Hey, I did a double take myself. I knew which one was Rasputin, but I had to look CLOSELY to see if that was Mel or Sadaam. Mel could certainly play Sadaam if he wanted to; he can make himself look like him!
I'm sure that's just what he wants to hear.... "you really look like Saddam these days, don't you?"
The only thing I wondered about was about how 'Saddam' looked a little younger in that pic.
But a little more gray in the beard, and some makeup to bag the eyes a little more... and he's got it nailed.
Payrolls aren't hitting the mainframe so I'm stuck here until they fix it. Grrrr....

Got about 20 mins till boarding. Decided on We Were Soldiers for loading the movie machine.
