Well at least you talked directly to the vet, so he'll know what's up.

I think he probably thinks I'm a big pain in the butt and a loon to boot... wanting him to advise me what to do over the phone. "How should I know what's wrong with him, crazy lady?" ~sigh~

I need some cholesterol medicine ;~D.

My Oliver is prone to have urinary tract problems. Every now and again he'll start displaying symptoms. I panic, truck him off to the vet. They keep him overnight for tests and observations - only to find nothing. The false alarms present symptoms like the real deal so I can never tell. I'm sure vets everywhere are used to that kind of thing.

Sounds to me like Cartman may have tangled with another tomcat.

It sounds like he was burning off some adrenaline. My two cats don't like each other very much and will ocassionally fight*. You can't get near either one of them afterwards until the adrenaline is gone.

*Less frequently since the dogs have come into our family. It's an enemy of my enemy is my friend-kind of thing.

Typical kid behavior. You think they're dyin' and when you get 'em to the ER thedoctorandnurse look at you and say "why did you bring this child here?"

Jr. fell off the couch backward when he was about a year old. He was turnin' blue. By the time we got to the ER we couldn't keep him from climbin' on things.

She gets off work in about 20 minutes.
