If I ever do get married.....
I have several songs I want played/sung at the ceremony/prelude.
"Love can make you happy", by Mercy, from 1969.
"the wedding song",(there is love) by the guy from Peter Paul and Mary.
And maybe "The best of me", by Olivia Newton-John and David Foster.
Of course, all of these will have to meet approval of the bride, if there ever is one......

The mountains are beautiful but I'm a beach girl. My grandmother lives two blocks away from the beach so I go visit her a lot. I'm going there for spring break with one of my friends, actually.

I haven't lived in the state long enough to go touring around all the wonderful scenic things.
I can tell you all about Georgia, though (moldy, hot, smoggy...)

the markII is English..not sure of manufacturer, For quite a few years I was in kayak & Canoe club here..A wonderful group with wonderful outings. but they were all so liberal for the most part.. I was tired of the liberal bumper stickers etc. I am a tree hugger to a degree but that is about where my liberal "impressions" might end.
Eventually I would like more/better kayaks. financing is tight at this point in my life.

No kidding? Way out there! I'll be in Regina next week, I am doing my research for IPSCO. You get even colder than we do in Edmonton probably, no?

I am ordained (southern baptist).. although could do any ministry, my choice was hospital chaplaincy w/Hospice/cancer/AIDS patients. I was licensed in NC & Texas to perform marriages but chose NOT to. Here I have not secured a license. Anyone can officiate at a funeral w/o license. Currently I am full time caregiver to my invalid mom & also help with a few ohter relatives. All very poor! I am pretty tired. Not sure if this all makes sense

I find that overall, sea kayakers are some of the neatest people you will meet though. Some can be kind of off the wall, but most are really good people. I support conservation and stewardship, and will debate land-use issues but I can't stand enviro-socialism and that is what so many have started preaching!
Eventually I would like more/better kayaks. financing is tight at this point in my life.
I hear the tight $$. I found a beautiful spot about two hours from Edmonton that I want to check out. Some water was even open, though I don't know after this coldsnap we had. Could see the mountains off on the horizon too. Beautiful! I have some paddling pics on my profile if you care to look.

I almost went to Georgia Tech, the humidity and lack of skiing were somewhat of a factor in my decision! Though it is a great school. How long have you been in SC?

Wow. You are truly a wonderful woman.

The other day I was looking at various temperatures around the country, noticing it was cold in places that normally aren't cold, and then I thought about looking at the temperature in Nome, Alaska (at the North Pole) and it was 30 degrees warmer there than it was here! Which is not too uncommon. I do believe you have warmer temperaturs for the most part than I do down here in NE Montana.
Gets just as bitter cold in Regina as it does where I'm located. They are typically a degree or two colder there than it gets here.

I imagine the coastal areas are amazing. I like to sea kayak and used to sail, and I imagine it is endless there! Too many places to visit. What year in school are you?

Perhaps.....But I'd rather be alone, like now, than with someone like Melissa, Holly, Stephanie, Jamie, Shelley, Melinda, or the other women who crossed my path in the past, and left their mark on my heart, ESPECIALLY Melissa , Holly and Stephanie.
I want someone like Kim.(or even her, if she was available.) I just don't know if I will ever know someone like that again. That was 20 years ago, and it is a different world now.
