I thought it was just me that the past couple Olympics I just haven't gotten into them like I used to.. not sure why

It's either age or you are just out and about too much. Too busy. I'm afraid I'm getting old, I actually like the Olympics again!!

Pretty little girl at tech school (24 or 25) was dating an older guy (42-43). She freaked out when I asked for her Mom's IM, after she told me her Mom was single. Goose/Gander? Whatz up with that? At least her mom and I were born in the same decade... Last century.

There is one "possibility" now in picture.. well he has been since 2002...Lives in Chicago & now has some serious health problems..He is the one I am to go to California with. If I marry this year, he is the one. Fining your match is always challenging ~One who compliments what you do physically, politically & spiritually...

I have a LOT of friends who I go out with/date.... most of them know I am not interested in a romantic relationship with them, I try to be upfront.. but once that type of conversation occurs, you can go out without the tensions that accompany the "game playing" if you know what I mean. I have had many of these folks in my life for 5-10 years. We go to movies, hiking, theater, dinner, etc.

Caregiving my invalid mom whom I live with is an additional "situation". Life is always complicated it seems

How about you?

I was married for 24 1/2 years (I'm like a kid, the 1/2 counts!!). Been there, there are rough times. You don't know how easy it is for me to tell you just to hang in there on the tough times (hehe, snicker, snort...). But I have to tell you, I'm pretty happy alone because there is no one to tell me I could be better. I think I will spend the rest of my life alone (meaning with the kids, friends and relatives). Right now, I really only miss having that warm body to heat my bed and the heating pad does just as well!!

I tell some younger guys that ask me out that I am not too old for them, but they are too young for me.. there is a difference.

Skating on.. going to watch

I think most young people tend to freak out over the thought of their parents dating ANYONE.

I finally made it to London a year or so ago and loved it. Hope to go again soon.

Anything else I can get for you?

A couple of Ensure (strawberry flavored), someone to clean up the mess the catz made out of the living room, and while you're at it, An Irish Coffee, With REAL Whipped Cream. Because it's getting cold here.

That's it. Move it.

I may have to work on my delivery....

I was going to include your two links, my Finest/writer33 link I read what he wrote on Cheney and loved it!! Was at work so didn't have time but he put it all in a nutshell about this Cheney stuff. It's bad for Cheney, this week must have been a rough one.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I watched her brain re-adjust to me IM'ing her Mom. It didn't compute. They (those old people) don't really... do anything... right? After they turn 30? YUK!

Daughter would be surpised by her mom, if she really knew..

Spent four days there once on a layover on the way home. Glad I did it, but the only reason I'd do it again would be to revisit the Tower Museum to look at all of those weapons again. From the clubs and broadswords through the history of the firearm. They finally had to close up for the day and give me the boot.
