We'll keep working on him.

I've been trying for a few weeks...

Do you do much trout fishing? Also, is it any coincidence that the pics of your niece follow the shooting images?? LOL

He just needs an attituide adjustment. If a 2X4 doesn't work, try the 4X4.

This past summer was a very poor year here for trout fishing in streams due to a serious lack of rain. I didn't even bother to go after the first week of June. The previous two years we had so much rain (unusual) that the fishing was good in certain streams all year long.

I use my niece's picture as a come on to get people to look at my pictures. What guy can resist looking at a pretty girl? I tell them to check out my niece on my home page and they have to look at me first. LOL

Even the ladies think she's pretty.

I never had the guts to end it first. That was a big painful mistake for me. They would throw me crumbs and I would take crumbs. It took me a long time to realize I deserved more than just 'crumbs' from a guy. I'm sure good men, like us honest good women, have gone through the same thing.

Nothing hurts worse than a broken heart. After a few broken hearts some people don't want to even try anymore.

I used to fish for trout regularly when I lived in Upper Michigan. I dabbled in fly-fishing a bit, but the streams I fished were pretty small and once the grass was high enough I spent more time picking flies out of the weeds!

I do more hunting now, all the trout streams are about 4 hrs from where I'm at now and gas is too high on my budget!

I use my niece's picture as a come on to get people to look at my pictures.

LOL, is she aware of that??

What guy can resist looking at a pretty girl? I tell them to check out my niece on my home page and they have to look at me first. LOL

Some pretty steel you have on there as well, I'd figure on FR that would be enough to get some people looking at your page. Are those yours, pretty nice collection. She is beautiful, I won't lie to you. I'm single (educated & ambitious too!) if she ever needs a date!

Chock full 'o Nuts, Budweiser, about to nuke some chili (no beans) - try LBJ's own recipe and add a little stale coffee

Richard Dreyfus is still pretending he is a man on A&E (JAWZ) for the 10th time tonight and (never go fishing in a single engined garbage scow)

My second TV (WebTV/DirecTV on FR/PIP) is scanning for something I have not seen yet and is halfway passable -

I haunt the night

I've been through some rough ones, too. SOmetimes, you meet the right person when you least expect it, so they say.

The day, figuratively speaking, I gave up looking for a good, decent man, was the day I met my wonderful hubby (online!!!!!).

;yes, so I have heard (and been told, I guess)

I see some of the lament is on broken/hurt relationships..

I posted this yesterday & some may have missed it.. will post again.

@@@

here is something Neets Posted the ohter day on another thread:

AFTER A WHILE,
by Veronica Shoffstall

After a while, you learn the subtle difference

Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning

And company doesn't mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts

And presents aren't promises.

And you begin to accept your defeats

With your head up and your eyes open

With the grace of a woman(man), not the grief of a child.

And you learn to build all your roads

On today, because tomorrow's ground

Is too uncertain for plans, and futures have

A way of falling down in mid-flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine

Burns if you get too much.

So you plant your own garden and decorate

Your own soul instead of waiting

For someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure...

That you really are strong

And you really do have worth.

And you learn and learn...

With every goodbye you learn.
