I think that is something a woman looks for isn't it, strength and "manliness"? I know I like that. I just thought it was second nature for them. I never realized before that feminism basically hurts mens feelings, they are tender in many ways. I always thought they just didn't like feminists because they were too manly but I see it's more that they are afraid feminists will knock them down emotionally. Wow, what a revelation.
He's all done now, mechanical engineer.
Dissertated? Lol. I might be doing that someday.
Sounds about like my day. Mine started off as one of those mornings where everyone calls while you're still asleep, and you wake up in time to answer right after they've hung up.
Did you get anything good?
'Dissertated' is a good word :-)
Nice, I started my undergrad as a mech. eng. Did he go to MO-Rallah or Mines? I imagine he was pretty happy to get out and get a job! Oh, how I yearn for a paycheck!!
Wow, how did you know that? I call it school of the minds but it's Mo-Rolla. Way up there in Michigan is where you are?
I'm sure it will be a nice one when you get there.
I have a prof who wants to write a book about how PETA is a terrorist group. Lol I hope she does! It'd be a great book.
They're two separate universities aren't they, Mines and Rolla? Both are excellent engineering universities. My dad (also a metallurgist) has a friend who teaches at MO School of Mines. He was one who did a lot of research on the metallurgy of the Titanic. (I actually have some saw filings from the hull of it, which he gave to my dad!)
I did my undergrad at Michigan Tech, and I am at the Univ of Alberta in Canada now.
Checking in for a moment to see if any accidental matchmaking has happened while I was out stuffing my face full of filet mignon.
I'd buy a copy, they are! My deer rifle is named 'Ingrid' after their founder :-)
Hi, MR. I think there might be some promising developments out there but it's hard to tell. Did you bring us back any filet mignon?
Hows it going?
Really, you're in Canada now? Does that require out of state tuition? Or out of country tuition?
No, they are one in the same (sort of). It used to be School of the Mines but is now technically University of Mo-Rolla. Alot of people still call it by the old name. Unless they have a separate section called School of the Mines but it's the same campus.
Yes, but men want young women, no matter how old the man is. Rats! Well, their loss.
That's funny. Do you hunt a lot?
LOL! Good luck! When I was in undergrad, I had no idea I ever would be dissertating someday.
"Oh, nothing. Watched "Casablanca" tonight."
What did you think?
I'm an undergrad now. I have to do my thesis next year. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to grad school.
